Lady Di Scrabble Tile Pendant
Diana Spencer, Lady Diana, Princess Diana, The Princess of Wales, The People’s Princess, she went by many names. She was an icon that sparked an astronomical public mourning amongst people around the world after her death in August, 1996. Heavily involved with charities like awareness of AIDS and leprosy, she was the model figure for kindness, grace, and beauty.
In 1991, my sisters, mother, aunt, and I stood in the rain for 5 hours in Toronto to catch a glimpse of Princess Diana, while she rushed in to church, with Charles, Harry and William at her side. It was my first celebrity sighting and one I will never forget. Perhaps this is why her death hit our family so hard. We are very much advocates for the monarchy, and especially for Princess Diana and her causes.
We wanted to dedicate a pendant to Diana, Lady Di, in her younger years before all the turmoil and stresses that came to her life in later years.
